Free Delivery Information

All our items are delivered free of charge on orders over £200.  Items under £200 are subject to a nominal £20 charge.  The price is automatically calculated for you at the checkout so you won't need to add anything.

At roomstogo the level of service we offer you is an extremely important part of the whole process. That’s why we are using the services of one of the UKs leading home delivery companies, so you can purchase your furniture from us safe in the knowledge that your order will be delivered to home at a mutually convenient time in a professional manner.

For our standard delivery service items are transported directly to your home in specially equipped vans and are carried in by trained delivery staff.  Unlike some of our competitors, you will not be asked to assist with unloading heavy or bulky items as we use a two man delivery team.  The delivery drivers will also be happy to assist with placing the items in your room of choice, just ask them when they arrive.

Your delivery date is worked out on stock levels at the manufacturer and your postcode. We endeavour to get you your order as quickly as possible, and this is usually within 10-15 working days. Where there is a delay to this then we will advise you, and if we can we will always try and beat these times.

Damages:

Due to the bulky nature of some products some items can be damaged during transit.  Using the two man specialist delivery service keeps this to a minimum and our damage rates are amongst the lowest in the industry.  In the unlikely event items are damaged then they must be reported to us immediately and this must be done latest within 24 hours of receipt of the goods.  Where items are damaged or faulty we will replace either the relevant parts or the complete unit free of charge.  If items are not reported as damaged within the 24 hour period then we will be unable to replace items.  Damages can be reported via email or by calling us.

Charges:

All our deliveries are free of charge to mainland UK postcodes on orders over £200.  Any order below £200 is subject to a nominal £20 charge.

In addition there is a £40 surcharge levied to deliveries to the following postcodes:-

AB, DG, FK15 – 21, IV, KA6, KA18-26, KA29-30, KW 1-14, LD, LL, PH 4-13, PH 15-41, SA19-73, SY 15 – 25, TD.

For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands we will deliver free to a nominated mainland GB address (e.g. port). Onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer.

Next Day Delivery:

On some items we offer a next day delivery opportunity.  These are listed under the 'Next Day Delivery' section and are also clearly marked up on the images and with the relevant pricing.  Please note the following is applicable to the Next Day Delivery service:

Item must be ordered before 3pm for next day delivery - PLEASE SUPPLY A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER WHEN YOU CONFIRM PAYMENT.

All orders will be dispatched on a next business day (Mon – Fri excluding public holidays) delivery service providing the order is placed before 3:00pm. Deliveries are made by a one man delivery service. This means the courier can only deliver the ordered items to the front door of the designated delivery address. If you reside in an apartment or a block of flats, the delivery driver will deliver to the lobby of the building only. Deliveries will be made Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays) between 9am–6pm. Please understand that the delivery company that offers this service is not insured to enter private premises. Please be aware that if you purchase a product on an express delivery and require assistance with the positioning of the product you must arrange the assistance yourself.

IF YOU ORDER AN ITEM USING THE NEXT DAY DELIVERY SERVICE IT IS IMPORTANT YOU (OR SOMEONE ELSE ON YOUR BEHALF) IS IN THE PREMISES TO ACCEPT THE DELIVERY WHICH CAN BE ANYTIME BETWEEN 9am-6pm.

Please note that if you buy an item on a next day day delivery and are not there to receive the items you will be charged a re-delivery fee (this varies depending on the weight of the product - we will call you and advise the amount). If you do not want to pay the re-delivery charge then the goods will be withheld and you will be re-imbursed for the amount you paid minus the original delivery charge out - again we will advise the amount.

If the item arrives visibly damaged or you think the item is damaged please sign for it as "damaged". If damage is not reported at the time of delivery we are unable to replace the goods as we cannot claim off the carrier.  Where items are damaged or faulty we will replace either the relevant parts or the complete unit free of charge. If items are not reported as damaged immediately or signed for as damaged then we will be unable to replace items. Damages can be reported via email or by calling us.
